For Ellie Redders, interior design began as a hobby and grew into a career. Prior to launching Ellie Redders Interiors in 2009, Ellie and her husband Brian made a habit of moving every couple years. Ellie loved decorating the homes, paying attention to the unique style of each home and neighborhood. As the homes came together and the projects ended, though, Ellie would once again find herself antsy to move and start all over.
A certified interior designer, Ellie loves sharing her eye for design with clients and helping them transform their houses into dream homes. She strives to create rooms that are comfortable and welcoming, have a cohesive feel and function better for the family.
Clients feel comfortable working with Ellie because she takes the time to get to know them and their style, and includes them in the creative process every step of the way. She says it’s not her job to change their style, but to make their home the best space it can be. This requires an open mind, good communication and trust.
As for her own style, Ellie tends to gravitate toward a classic style with unique, eclectic touches. She has a good eye for combining different materials, textures and patterns, and an impressive ability to seamlessly incorporate interesting accent pieces into her design. First and foremost, though, she wants her home to be comfortable and serene.
Ellie attended Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. She married her college sweetheart in 2001 and they have two sons. They’ve lived in their current home in Wildwood for eight years, a personal record that she attributes, in part, to her business. After all, without the steady stream of projects her business provides, she would be forced to find a new project house!
When Ellie is not designing, she enjoys reading, traveling and spending time in the outdoors – all of which provide endless inspiration for her work. She also loves to run and go on family hikes at their home-away-from-home at Innsbrook.
In April of 2016, Stacey Burke joined Ellie Redders Interiors after years of raising her three children.
Stacey is an interior designer who began her career in commerical design. She graduated from Maryville College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. After graduation, Stacey began her career as a designer for a Herman Miller Dealership. She soon advanced into a design director position with clients including Anheuser Busch, Scott Air Force Base, Ralcorp and Citation Computer Systems. Her experise was in areas of project management, schematic design, color selection and space planning. She is now using those skills to improve clients spaces at Ellie Redders Interiors.
In her free time she loves to spend time at the lake, walk her dog Sonny and organize!
