Meet Our Team
We are here to help.
Prior to launching Ellie Redders Interiors in 2009, Ellie and her husband made a habit of moving every couple of years. Ellie loved decorating the homes, paying attention to the unique style of each home and neighborhood. As the homes came together and the projects ended, though, Ellie would once again find herself antsy to move and start all over. Ten years later Ellie has satisfied her desire to design and decorate by working with clients to help them transform their houses into their dream homes.
Ellie is a certified interior designer with experience in residential and commercial design. She strives to create rooms that are cohesive, comfortable, and welcoming. She has a good eye for combining different materials, textures and patterns, and an impressive ability to seamlessly incorporate interesting accent pieces into her designs.
She believes in combining a client’s design style with her expertise to produce a beautifully designed and functional space. Clients feel comfortable working with Ellie because she takes the time to get to know them and their style, and includes them in the creative process every step of the way.
When she’s not planning spaces, you can find Ellie planning carpools to keep up with her two boys sports schedules, traveling, or relaxing at home in Wildwood, Missouri…where she has now lived for nearly ten years, a personal record that she attributes, in part, to her business. After all, without the steady stream of projects her business provides, she would be forced to find a new project house!
Lauren has always had a natural passion for interior design. Her personal style is streamlined, inviting and luxuriously eclectic with a well-played mix of textures and color. Lauren’s inspiration was cultivated from the various cities she has resided in over the years, from the beautiful, mysterious and irreverent Southwest to the storied tradition and cutting edge of the East Coast. Fresh out of undergrad and purely for enjoyment, she even convinced a Chicago building owner to allow her and friends to make stylish updates to a previously unrentable space, transforming it from unlivable to one of his most profitable apartments.
Lauren’s eventual move back to St. Louis found her rehabbing a beautiful older home from the inside out, and spurred the creation of her own furniture rehabilitation and design business, eventually customizing over 100 individual pieces of furniture. She worked collaboratively with clients to create pieces with a wow-factor to enhance rooms throughout their homes.
Frequent requests for design and decorating help followed, and she started working in home staging. Using her eye for space planning and balance, Lauren excelled at creating individual design plans to attract the largest group of buyers across all levels of the real estate market. Listening to the needs and styles that clients love and synthesizing that with elevated ideas of design is her go-to approach to creating spaces that clients will treasure for years to come.
In her free time, Lauren loves to spend time with her two boys and her two fur babies and sift through antique malls and the internet for that perfectly unexpected piece.
